Product information on Exendo Epigenomics DPP-IV Optimum Basic Gold:
The DPP-IV enzyme belongs to the multifunctional enzymes with more than 70 functions.Among other things, it is involved in the breakdown of exorphins, which are morphine-like proteins from gluten, casein, soy, spinach and micro-organisms.
DPP-IV Optimum Gold Basic is a broad-spectrum enzyme preparation and probiotic in one.
It contains 4 different enzymes with a DPP-IV activity of 555 DPP-IV and 43,200 HUT units per capsule.
The product also contains 0.5 billion units of Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG, a patented bacterium that produces DPP-IV enzymes in the body.
DPP-IV Optimum Gold Basic also contains substances that stimulate DPP-IV gene expression. As a result, enzyme lacticity does not occur and the body is stimulated to make its own DPP-IV enzymes.
DPP-IV Optimum Gold Basic is an enzyme preparation that stimulates the genetic production of the DPP-IV enzyme. DPP-IV Optimum Gold Basic is gastric acid resistant and active between a pH of 2 to 8.
CAUTION:
The activity of Exendo Epigenomics DPP-IV Optimum Gold is three times stronger than Exendo Epigenomics DPP-IV Optimum Gold Basic. This makes Exendo Epigenomics DPP-IV Optimum Gold Basic suitable for children from 4 years old and Exendo Epigenomics DPP-IV Optimum Gold suitable for adults from 18 years old.

1 capsule (is daily dose) contains:Protease-peptidase enzyme blend consisting of:
- DPP-IV peptidase (555 DPP-IV) Protease (from Aspergillus oryzae) (BioCore DPP-IV) 67 mg
- DPP-IV peptidase (45,000 HUT) Protease (from Aspergillus oryzae) (BioCore DPP-IV) 55 mg
- DPP-IV Peptidase (9.5 AP) Protease (from Aspergillus melleus) (BioCore DPP-IV) 11 mg
- Protease: 12 SAPU 11 mg
- Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG -ATCC 53103: 0.5 billion units (5 mg)*

Use of Exendo Epigenomics DPP-IV Optimum Basic Gold:
1 daily 1 capsule preferably to be taken just before or during meals unless otherwise advised by your health professional.Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Do not use in children under 4 years of age. Keep out of the reach of young children.
Store in a dry place and at room temperature.
A dietary supplement should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle but may be an appropriate supplement.
Warning:
Do not use if taking DPP-IV inhibitors for the treatment of type 2 diabetes because DPP-IV inhibitors disable the action of DPP-IV.
Other interactions with medicines and natural products are possible. Please consult an expert for this.
Deficient DPP-IV enzyme function results in exorphin accumulation. DPP-IV Optimum Gold results in an accelerated breakdown of exorphins. As a result, withdrawal symptoms and a change in gut flora may occur during the first few days (several weeks in exceptional cases).
This is a normal process and indicates that you are suffering from exorphin withdrawal.
The characteristics of withdrawal (e.g. irritability, increased stress sensitivity, agitation etc...) vary from person to person:
Psychological withdrawal symptoms: increased irritability and stress sensitivity, irritability, fatigue, increased craving for sugar
