Lamberts' Vitamin E capsules contain Vitamin E in its natural form: d-alpha tocopherol. This form is present in foods such as nuts and vegetable oils. In this form, Vitamin E is also easily absorbed. The Vitamin E used by Lamberts comes from natural sources and is produced from sunflower oil. The natural form has twice the potency of its synthetic equivalent, dl-alpha tocopherol. Vitamin E is the most powerful lipophilic antioxidant vitamin in the body, with the primary function of neutralizing highly reactive free radicals. This vitamin primarily protects polyunsaturated fats and some (other) vitamins against oxidation.✓Vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells against oxidative damage.
