Application of Natterman Bronchicum Extra Sterk Stroop:
Bronchicum Extra Strong belongs to the group of cough suppressant medicines and can be used to relieve cough complaints.Ingredients of Natterman Bronchicum Extra Sterk Stroop:
Active substance: codeine phosphate hemihydrate, 0.5 mg per ml syrup.Excipients: sodium benzoate (E211), honey, sucrose, glucose, compound thyme tincture (gravel tincture, burnet tincture, primrose root tincture, thyme tincture, ethanol, purified water), melrosum tincture
(primrose root tincture, rose tincture, ethanol, purified water), rose oil, citric acid and
purified water.
Contains 1 vol% alcohol.
Usage of Natterman Bronchicum Extra Sterk Stroop:
The recommended dosage for adults is: 20 ml per time, maximum 4 times per day.Children aged 12 to 18 years: 20 ml at a time, maximum 4 times a day.
Natterman Bronchicum Extra Strong is not recommended for use in children aged 12 to 18 years who have reduced respiratory function.
Do not use in case of:
• For children under 12 years.
• You know that codeine converts into morphine very quickly.
• You are breastfeeding.
• If you have been shown to be sensitive to any of the ingredients of this medicine.
• When you have a reduced respiratory reserve. You can recognize this, for example, by attacks of shortness of breath caused by cramps of
the muscles and swelling of the lining of the airways, often accompanied by coughing and producing mucus (bronchial asthma) or when you
a lung disease resulting from loss of elasticity of the lung tissue accompanied by (severe) shortness of breath (emphysema).
• When your liver is not functioning properly.
