Application of Sandoz Loratadine 10 mg:
Loratadine Sandoz is an anti-allergy medicine. It helps to control your allergic reactions and theto suppress its symptoms.
Loratadine Sandoz relieves symptoms associated with e.g. hay fever or allergy to
house dust mites (allergic rhinitis), such as sneezing, runny or itchy nose, itchy skin
palate and itchy, red or watery eyes.
What is this medicine used for:
To relieve symptoms associated with e.g. hay fever or dust mite allergy (allergic rhinitis), such as sneezing, a runny or itchy nose, itchy palate and itchy, red or watery eyes and to relieve symptoms such as itching and bumps (associated with chronic hives of unknown cause).
Composition of Sandoz Loratadine 10 mg:
Active substance: Each orodispersible tablet contains 10 mg loratadine.Excipients: sweet orange flavouring (contains sulphites), aspartame (E951), anhydrous citric acid (E330), colloidal anhydrous silica, maize starch, dried, anhydrous LACTOSE, magnesium stearate (E470b), croscarmellose sodium (E468), mannitol (E4221), sorbitol (E420), crospovidone, colloidal hydrated silica (E551), polysorbate 80 (E433), povidone (E1201), microcrystalline cellulose (E460).
Use of Sandoz Loratadine 10 mg:
Directions for useLoratadine Sandoz (melt in the mouth) is intended for placing on the tongue and for oral use.
This medicine breaks easily, so you should handle the tablets with care and only with dry hands.
Method of use
1. Tear off 1 section of the packaging along the dotted line.
2. Peel open the foil in the direction of the arrow and carefully remove the tablet.
Do not squeeze the tablet out of the foil.
3. Place the tablet on your tongue after removing it from the packaging. The tablet
Melts instantly in your mouth. No water is needed to swallow the tablet.
This product dissolves in the mouth on contact with saliva and can therefore be taken without water.

Do not use in
- You are allergic to any of the ingredients of this medicine.
- Do not use on irritated or damaged skin.
- Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.

- Do not seal the areas where the product is to be applied airtight.

Warning:
- Do not use in children under 2 years of age.
This medication makes you drowsy and reduces your reaction time. You should not drive while experiencing these side effects. Make sure children play safely (for example, not high up on a climbing frame) after taking this medication.
- Do not use if you have poor liver function without consulting a doctor.
Intake during pregnancy and lactation
Do not use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Other information
Consult your GP:
- If the symptoms are severe and the medication does not help enough.
- During pregnancy and/or breastfeeding.
- In case of tightness or shortness of breath, with very swollen eyes and colored eye fluid.
- In case of complaints on only one side of the nose.
- Children who have complaints for the first time.
- To find out the cause of the allergy.
Dosage
The recommended dose is:
Adults and children 12 years and older: take 1 tablet once a day.
Children aged 2 to 12 years weighing more than 30 kg: take 1 tablet once a day. Please read information leaflet before use
