Iceland moss (Cetraria islandica) is a unique organism. It's not a plant, but a lichen. This means it consists of an alga and a fungus that work together. The lichen is grayish-brown and grows upright.Iceland moss is found primarily in cold regions, such as the mountains of Northern Europe and North America, and of course, in Iceland. It tolerates the cold well and often grows on the ground or on rocks.
For centuries, people have been making extracts from Icelandic moss. They used water and alcohol, for example, to extract and preserve the compounds from the lichen. This made it easy to use, even if it didn't grow nearby. This extract is called a tincture.
You can make a tincture from Icelandic moss. This is a liquid extract containing the lichen's constituents. This allows you to utilize the properties of this unique organism.

Take 15 to 20 drops 3 times a day, unless otherwise advised by your health professional.Children aged 2 to 15 years take as many drops as their age.
Preferably take with sufficient water.
Do not exceed the daily dose.
