Vagisan Protective Ointment was specially developed for use in the external genital area. The ointment is exceptionally mild, easy to spread, and adheres well to the skin. Thanks to its formula of skin-friendly oils and plant waxes, it forms a water-repellent protective film on the skin, yet allows it to breathe. This protects the skin from irritants that cause sore spots in the external genital area and around the buttocks, without causing moisture to accumulate. Vagisan Protective Ointment contains no mineral oils or silicones.
Vagisan Protective Ointment soothes skin irritations
If the skin is already red and irritated, applying the ointment can help alleviate the symptoms. The composition of plant-based oils and waxes has a nourishing, soothing, and slightly lubricating effect. Furthermore, the ointment contains naturally identical ingredients, also found in oats and chamomile. These ingredients have a skin-soothing effect. The natural ginger extract can help reduce skin irritation.

Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Cocoglycerides, Aqua, Octyldodecyl Myristate, Oleyl Erucate, Acacia Decurrens/Jojoba/Sunflower Seed Cera/Polyglyceryl-3 Esters, Glyceryl Stearate, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Glyceryl Dibehenate, Glyceryl Behenate, Tribehenin, Benzyl Alcohol, Butylene Glycol, Pentylene Glycol, Bisabolol, Hydroxyphenyl Propamidobenzoic Acid, Tocopherol, Zingiber Officinale Root Extract, Ascorbyl Palmitate.Usage of Vagisan Beschermende Zalf:
The ointment is applied thinly and distributed evenly to the external intimate area on frequently irritated areas. A pea-sized amount is sufficient for the front or back of the intimate area, for example. The ointment can be used once or twice a day, but can also be applied more often as needed.It is recommended to use these:
- AFTER washing,
- AFTER using toilet paper,
- BEFORE and AFTER using the toilet around the anus,
- FOR sports activities.
Vagisan Protective Ointment can also be used in the external intimate area during menstruation.
