Metamucil Sugar Free is a medication that helps with long-term or recurring constipation. It can also be used in situations where a soft, easy bowel movement is desirable, such as after rectal or anal surgery, or for hemorrhoidal symptoms.Metamucil Sugar Free works by mixing with intestinal contents and absorbing water. This creates a gentle, non-irritating lining of the intestines, stimulating bowel function and promoting bowel movements.
Composition of Metamucil Orange Suikervrij Aanbieding:
Each 5.8 gram sachet contains:Ispaghula Husk Anhydricum 3,4 gram.
Other ingredients:
Anhydrous citric acid (E330), orange flavouring, aspartame, maltodextrin and sunset yellow FCF (E110).
Metamucil Orange Sugar Free is gluten free.
Usage of Metamucil Orange Suikervrij Aanbieding:
Always use Metamucil Orange Sugar Free exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has advised you.If you are unsure about the correct use, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Instructions for use:
- Over 12 years: Two to three sachets per day (divided into 1-3 intakes)
- 6-12 years: One sachet per day
- Not suitable for children under 6 years
How to use:
1. Place the contents of one sachet in a glass. Slowly fill the glass with cold water or another liquid.
2. Stir well and drink immediately.
3. Take an extra glass of water after each dose.
Warning:
- Contains aspartame (a source of phenylalanine)
Do not use Metamucil Orange Sugar Free:
- if you are allergic to any of the ingredients of this medicine
- in case of sudden abdominal pain
- in case of narrowing - obstruction - of the intestine
- in case of trapped stool
- in case of phenylketonuria in children and pregnant women
Diabetics:
Metamucil Orange Sugar Free can also be used by diabetics.
