This medicine is used to relieve withdrawal symptoms and reduce nicotine cravings. You may experience these symptoms if you try to quit smoking or if you cut down on your cigarettes while trying to quit. This medicine is for adult smokers aged 18 years or older. This medicine is suitable for smokers with a severe nicotine addiction. These are smokers who smoke their first cigarette of the day within 30 minutes of waking up, or who smoke more than 20 cigarettes a day. This medicine can help you quit smoking immediately or cut down on your cigarettes before quitting completely. If you think you can quit smoking right away, you should. However, if that feels like too big a step, you can try cutting down on your cigarettes first before quitting completely. See section 3 for more information. Nicorette Freshmint relieves the nicotine withdrawal symptoms, including cravings, that you get when you quit smoking. If your body suddenly stops receiving nicotine from tobacco, you may experience various unpleasant feelings, known as withdrawal symptoms. You may experience irritability, anger, feeling down, anxiety, restlessness, poor concentration, increased appetite or weight gain, cigarette cravings, waking up during the night, or trouble sleeping. The nicotine in this medication can help prevent or reduce these unpleasant feelings and cravings. The excipients in this medicine are: - tablet core: mannitol (E421), xanthan gum, Winterfresh RDE4-149 Spray dried (gum arabic (E414), peppermint, menthol and eucalyptol flavourings), sodium carbonate anhydrous (E500)(i), sucralose (E955), acesulfame potassium (E950), magnesium stearate (E470b); - tablet coating: hypromellose (E464), Winterfresh RDE4-149 (peppermint, menthol and eucalyptol flavourings), titanium dioxide (E171), sucralose (E955), microcrystalline cellulose (E460), potassium aluminium silicate (E555), acesulfame potassium (E950), polysorbate 80 (E433).Warning:
Talk to your doctor if you have any of the following conditions:
• Have recently had a heart attack or stroke
• Have chest pain (unstable angina) or angina at rest
• Have a heart condition that affects your heart rate or rhythm (arrhythmia)
• Have high blood pressure that you cannot control with medication
• Have ever had an allergic reaction with swelling of the lips, face and throat (angioedema) or itchy skin rash (urticaria). Using nicotine replacement therapy can sometimes trigger this type of reaction.

Use during pregnancy/breastfeeding:
It's best if you can quit smoking without using nicotine-containing medications. If you're unable to do so, you should only use this medication after consulting with the healthcare professional monitoring your pregnancy, your general practitioner, or a doctor working in a center specialized in helping people quit smoking.
Are you breastfeeding? Then you should not use this medicine. Nicotine is found in breast milk and can affect your baby. If your doctor has recommended this medicine, you should use the lozenge immediately after breastfeeding and not during the two hours before breastfeeding.
Usage of Nicorette Zuigtablet Fresh Mint 4 mg:
This medicine is for oromucosal use (through the oral mucosa). It is placed in the mouth, where it can dissolve and release nicotine, which is absorbed into the body through the lining of the mouth.Place one lozenge in your mouth and move it from one side of your mouth to the other periodically until it dissolves completely. This usually takes less than 20 minutes. Do not chew or swallow the lozenge whole. Do not eat or drink while the lozenge is in your mouth.
