Melatonin plays an important role in falling asleep. This hormone regulates our circadian rhythm: during the day there is light and melatonin production is suppressed, while in the evening, melatonin production increases (originating from the pineal gland in the brain). Our body produces a large part of melatonin itself; the contribution from diet is minimal.Additionally, the sleep hormone can be produced from tryptophan. The body converts tryptophan into 5-HTP; the substance acts as an intermediate step in the development of tryptophan into serotonin. 5-HTP serves as a building block for serotonin and is therefore a precursor to melatonin. Various cofactors are required for this conversion process, such as magnesium, B vitamins, zinc, calcium, and amino acids. Foods rich in tryptophan typically also contain these supporting substances. Incidentally, melatonin is not present in SlaapComplex.

You take 1-2 tablets per day, unless otherwise advised by your healthcare professional.Preferably take with plenty of water.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Warning:
The maximum dose of EGCG is 800 mg per day. Do not consume on an empty stomach or in combination with other green tea products. Not suitable for children under 18 years of age, during pregnancy (or when trying to conceive), or while breastfeeding.
