Cordyceps Sinensis, or Chinese Clubhead, originated in Southwest China. The Cordyceps is a special mushroom, which parasitizes on the caterpillar of the Hop rootworm. At a certain point the caterpillar mummifies, after which the fruiting body of the mushroom grows out of the head of the caterpillar. However, this extract was obtained by growing it on sugar cane, yellow bean powder, glucose and peptone.MushMore distinguishes itself from other brands because of the high-dose extracts and the standardization on Beta-Glucans. The advantages of an extract are that they contain the most important bioactive substances in a concentrated way and are easily absorbable.
