Macuvite is a unique nutritional supplement containing two special substances: lutein and zeaxanthin. These substances belong to the carotenoid family. Lutein and zeaxanthin are substances found in high concentrations in the eye.Macuvite contains a highly absorbable source of lutein and zeaxanthin derived from Tagetes erecta (marigold) extract. Zeaxanthin and lutein have a synergistic effect.
