Application of Springfield Macuvite-2:
Macuvite-2 contains special nutrients such as lutein and zeaxanthin (derived from Tagetes erecta), vitamins C and E, and the minerals zinc and copper. Macuvite-2 is formulated based on recent insights into effectiveness, absorption, and substantiation of the various naturally derived ingredients. The ingredients are special, high-quality forms, are well-absorbed, and have been the subject of various studies. Macuvite-2 is formulated according to European guidelines regarding recommended daily intake levels.What makes the various ingredients in Macucvite-2 special?
Lutein, zeaxanthin, and meso-zeaxanthin—from Tagetes erecta, the Marigold family—belong to the carotenoid group. Lutein and zeaxanthin are found in high concentrations in the central part of the retina.
Vitamin C is formulated with plant lipids and bioflavonoids for optimal absorption. Vitamin C contributes to the regeneration of the active form of vitamin E; the normal function of the immune system; and the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Vitamin E is the natural form of d-alpha-tocopherol, along with other mixed tocopherols. What makes this vitamin E special is that it's sourced from sunflower. It's derived from non-GMO sunflower oil, kosher and halal certified. Vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Zinc is bound to L-methionine. Zinc-L-methionine thrives in a fiber-rich diet. This allows the mineral to be well absorbed. With a higher fiber content, absorption is even higher. Zinc-L-methionine also plays a role in copper absorption. Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal vision and normal cognitive function. Zinc also contributes as an antioxidant.
Copper is a trace element and works in conjunction with zinc, among other things. Copper gluconate is easily absorbed by the body. Copper contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous and immune systems and acts as an antioxidant.

Zeaxanthin (from Tagetes erecta extract) 2 mg
Copper (gluconate) 2 mg

Take 1 tablet per day, unless otherwise advised by your health professional.Preferably take after a (hot) meal with sufficient water.
