Usage of Altisa Ashwagandha Extract Forte 161 mg Advanced:
Altisa Ashwagandha Extract Forte 161 mg contains a high-quality hydro-alcoholic(*) extract of the root of the Withania somnifera (L.) plant, which is standardized to 7% - 10% total withanolides (free withanolides, glycowithanolides), 1% - 2% alkaloids (such as withanine, somniferine, tropine, isopelletierine, anaferine, cusehygrine, anahygrine, ...), with 0.25% withaferine-A(**) (one of the two important withanolides, besides withanolide D). With special attention to the preservation of the important lipophilic (readily soluble in fats and oils) and hydrophilic (readily soluble in water) active ingredients of the root.The Ashwagandha is combined with a highly effective black pepper extract with a high content (95%) of piperine, for better absorption and bioavailability of the active ingredients withanolides and alkaloids.
The Ashwagandha extract used is derived from Withania somnifera (L.) grown without phytosanitary products, such as herbicides. The plants are processed by certified and approved suppliers and harvested manually between February and May. To prevent possible contamination, the different plant lots are not mixed.
* = To obtain a higher content of withanolides, the ultimate active ingredient of the Ashwagandha plant.
** = Some extracts of Withania somnifera are produced with a reduced level of withaferin-A, with the scientific basis that a 'high' or 'higher' level of the beneficial substance withaferin-A could in some cases have a perceived negative effect.

Each vegetarian capsule contains:Withania somnifera (L.) (ashwagandha wortel, extract 8:1) 161 mg
corresponds to 1288 mg Withania somnifera (L.)
of which:
- Total withanolides (7% - 10%) 11.25 mg to 16.1 mg
- Alkaloids (1% - 2%) 1.61 mg to 3.22 mg
- Withaferine-A (0,25%) 0,40 mg
Piper nigrum L. (black pepper, fruit) standardized extract 5,3 mg
corresponds to 132.5 mg black pepper fruit
of which 95% piperine (5 mg)

Thickener: gum arabic; Withania somnifera (L.); hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (capsule); lubricant: magnesium stearate; anti-agglomerate: silicon dioxide; piper nigrum L..This product is free from: Artificial colours, preservatives and flavours, sugar, salt, starch, yeast, corn, milk (derivatives), talc, animal derivatives, gluten, lactose, crustaceans, eggs, fish, soy, nuts (almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, cashew nuts, pecan nuts, Brazil nuts, pistachios, macadamia nuts), celery, mustard, sesame seeds, sulphur dioxide and sulphites, lupine and molluscs.
Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Take 1 vegetarian capsule 2-3 times daily, unless otherwise advised by your healthcare professional.Preferably take during a meal with plenty of water.
