CBD stands for Cannabidiol and is one of the active ingredients in the hemp plant. CBD interacts with the body's endocannabinoid system and regulates the connections between cells. The endocannabinoid system also produces cannabinoids and is involved in many bodily processes, such as regulating cell connections.Mattisson CBD oil is made from hemp leaves grown in the Netherlands. The CBD component is extracted from the picked and dried hemp leaves in Germany using CO2 extraction. To make CBD oil, the CBD paste is mixed with hemp seed oil.
The THC content of this oil is <0.05%. 10 ml of CBD oil is equivalent to approximately 200 drops.

Methods (e.g., decarboxylation) that do use solvents and heat often compromise the naturally occurring active ingredients. Heating CBD oil also eliminates the sharp taste naturally present in hemp. Mattisson CBD oil, therefore, has a sharp flavor. Those who find this taste difficult to tolerate can opt for CBD capsules.

Hemp paste 50%, Hemp seed oil 50%.Per 100 ml: 5,0% CBD
Usage of Mattisson CBD Olie 5%:
Dissolve 1 drop under the tongue twice daily. Increase to 5 drops if desired. Use at room temperature, otherwise it will be too viscous for a pipette. Shake before use. A dietary supplement is not a substitute for a varied diet. Keep out of reach of children. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.The 5% CBD oil may be very thick. This is because it contains a significant amount of CBD paste. The product should be used at room temperature and shaken before use. If it is still too thick, you can follow these steps:
- Check that the pipette is not clogged and, if not, clean it with a needle;
Heat the oil slightly further and shake well. We recommend not heating it above approximately 38 degrees Celsius (hot water temperature), as the product will thicken further after cooling.
