For centuries, the shiitake mushroom has been used in Asia to strengthen broad resistance.However, when shiitake undergoes a special fermentation process, its active components, the "beta-1,3/1,6-glucans," are converted into smaller and more absorbable "alpha-glucans," which can penetrate even more deeply. SHIITAKE PLATINUM contains such a fermented shiitake extract.
Mannavital's SHIITAKE PLATINUM contains AHCC (Active Hexose Correlated Compound), a scientifically researched Japanese extract of the mycelium (the fungus) of the shiitake mushroom. 1 vegetarian capsule contains:Fermented and concentrated extract of Shiitake (Lentinula edodes) with at least 10% alpha-glucans (AHCC or Active Hexose Correlated Compound) in a complex with, among others, alpha-cyclodextrin for optimal absorption 230 mg.
