Ingredients of Phytonics Animal Gastri Comp Hond & Kat:
Angelica archangelica (Angelica major), Carduus marianus (Milk thistle), Chamomilla recutita (Chamomile), Glycyrrhiza glabra (Licorice), Humulus lupulus (Hop), Lichen islandicus (Icelandic moss), Mentha piperita (Peppermint), Taraxacum officinale (Dandelion), Zingiber officinale (Ginger). Magnesium citrate, Bentonite-Montmorillonite.Usage of Phytonics Animal Gastri Comp Hond & Kat:
Unless a doctor or therapist prescribes otherwise, twice daily:Dog > 25 kilos 3 scoops
Dog 10-25 kilos 2 scoops
Dog/cat < 10 kilos 1 measuring scoop
1 measuring scoop for dogs and cats contains approximately 0.4 grams
For animals younger than six months, personal advice is recommended. Please contact your veterinarian or therapist for this.
If it is difficult in practice to administer this product multiple times a day, once a day or once every two days is sufficient. In that case, give the maximum daily dose. Even then, this product can be used effectively, but the response may take slightly longer to appear.
Upon improvement, a maintenance dose can be used. This is usually half of the dosage indicated on the packaging. When dosing this product, carefully observe the animal's reaction. Initially, a higher dose may be necessary; this product can be safely administered at double the dose. As improvement occurs, gradually reduce the dosage to the lowest possible level.
Some animals may experience a short-term worsening or otherwise react severely at the start of treatment. In case of a severe increase, halve the dosage or stop temporarily and then gradually build up again.
Application
Can be given over the food. Moisten the food/powder (for dry food) so that it is not blown out of the food bowl.
Duration of the treatment
In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from a few days to 3 weeks. If there is improvement, continue administering this product for a few more days. In cases of prolonged discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks.
This product can be administered continuously. It is advisable to include a break week every 6 to 8 weeks. This allows the 'stimulus' to be reintroduced after the break week. Resume treatment immediately if there is a reason to do so.
