This MCT oil is made from 100% coconut oil and therefore consists of 99% caprylic acid/C8.MCT stands for Medium-Chain Triglyceride and is a type of fatty acid. Medium-chain means the fatty acids have a medium chain length. MCT oil provides quick energy and is not stored as fat. That's why it's also used as a supplement by athletes. MCT oil has a neutral taste and can be used either cold or warm as a replacement for other oils and fats. Heat to a maximum of 177 degrees Celsius. Some sediment is normal.
