Application of Prioderm Dimeticon Lotion:
Prioderm Dimeticon Lotion kills head lice and nits. The lotion contains no pesticides and has an application time of 15 minutes. Prioderm Dimeticon Lotion consists largely of dimethicone (more than 95%). Prioderm Dimeticon Lotion penetrates the respiratory organs of the head lice and nits, causing them to suffocate. Head lice cannot develop resistance to Prioderm Dimeticon Lotion. To break the head louse life cycle, it is important to repeat the treatment after 9-10 days.Ingredients of Prioderm Dimeticon Lotion:
Dimethicone (99%), tocopheryl acetate, apricot kernel oil, almond oil.Usage of Prioderm Dimeticon Lotion:
Prioderm dimethicone is a lotion that should be applied to dry hair. Approximately 20-100 ml of lotion is required per treatment, depending on hair length and type. For shoulder-length hair, 30-50 ml per treatment is sufficient. It is important to apply a generous amount of lotion, enough to completely cover all hairs, from the scalp to the ends.Proceed as follows:
- Twist off the cap from the tip of the applicator bottle and apply the lotion to the entire scalp with the handy applicator tip.
- Massage Prioderm dimethicone thoroughly into the hair and scalp until the entire hair, from scalp to ends, is covered.
- Leave Prioderm dimethicone on for at least 15 minutes.
- Next, apply a generous amount of shampoo without water and massage the shampoo into the hair.
- Only rinse the hair with water afterwards. It may be necessary to wash the hair with shampoo 2-4 times before it no longer feels greasy.
Wash it several times until the shampoo lathers well.
- Comb the hair with a brush or wide-toothed comb to remove any tangles. For long hair, it is easy to divide the hair into 4 equal sections using elastic bands or clips.
- Comb each section thoroughly with the included nit comb. After each combing motion, rinse the nit comb and/or dry it with a tissue. If there are lice or eggs in the comb, remove them immediately with plenty of water.
- Repeat the process with the other parts. It takes about 20-25 minutes to comb through the hair thoroughly and carefully.
- Important: repeat the treatment after 9-10 days. This is necessary to break the life cycle of head lice. Put it on your calendar or set an alarm on your mobile phone so you don't forget.
It is also important that you check all family members once head lice have been found, and don't forget yourself! Family members found on head lice must be treated simultaneously to prevent re-infestation within the family.
Re-infestation: Re-infestation may occur after treatment has started. In that case, treat again immediately with Prioderm dimethicone and repeat the treatment after 9-10 days. There is no risk of head lice becoming resistant to Prioderm dimethicone.
