Nicorette Fruit & Mint Mouth Spray is a nicotine replacement in the form of a spray that is atomized in the mouth.When your body suddenly stops getting nicotine from tobacco, you experience various unpleasant feelings called withdrawal symptoms. Using this Nicorette mouth spray prevents or reduces these unpleasant feelings and cravings. You provide your body with a small amount of nicotine for a short period.
Nicorette Fruit & Mint Mouth Spray doesn't contain the tar, carbon monoxide, or other toxins found in cigarette smoke. To increase your chances of quitting smoking, you should also seek professional support and advice if possible.
Composition of Nicorette Mondspray Fruit & Mint Duoverpakking:
Active ingredient: One spray equals 1 mg nicotineExcipients: propylene glycol (E1520), anhydrous ethanol, trometamol, poloxamer 407, glycerol (E422), sodium bicarbonate, levomenthol, red fruit flavouring, cooling flavouring, sucralose, acesulfame potassium, butylhydroxytoluene (E321), hydrochloric acid (for pH adjustment) and purified water
Usage of Nicorette Mondspray Fruit & Mint Duoverpakking:
Persons under 18 years of age should not use this medicine.Consult your doctor if you haven't reduced your spray count or cigarette consumption after 6 weeks of treatment, or if you need to use this medication for longer than 6 months. You should normally use this medication for 3 months. This medication should not be used for longer than 6 months.
The instructions on how to use this medicine depend on whether you stop immediately or gradually reduce the number of cigarettes you smoke before quitting completely.
Stop smoking immediately
The goal is to stop smoking immediately and use the vapor to relieve the craving to smoke.
Do not use more than 2 sprays at a time or 4 sprays per hour for 16 hours. The maximum dose is 64 sprays over 16 hours in any 24-hour period.
Step 1: Weeks 1 to 6
Use 1 or 2 sprays whenever you would normally smoke a cigarette or are craving one. Start with one spray, and if your craving doesn't subside within a few minutes, use a second. If 2 sprays are required, subsequent doses can be administered as 2 consecutive sprays. For most smokers, this means about 1 or 2 sprays every 30 minutes to 1 hour.
For example, if you smoke an average of 15 cigarettes a day, you should use 1 or 2 sprays at least 15 times during the day.
Step 2: Weeks 7 to 9
Start by reducing the number of sprays per day. By the end of week 9, you should be able to get by with HALF the average number.
