To make cocoa powder, the cocoa mass from the cocoa bean is used. This mass is pressed under high pressure to create cocoa powder and cocoa butter. These, in turn, can be used to make chocolate. Cocoa powder can be used in all kinds of (baking) dishes. Our organic cocoa powder comes from Peru.Cocoa is a powerful antioxidant and contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative damage.
Mattisson organic cocoa powder is roasted at 115 degrees and is therefore not RAW.
