ClaimsBisacodyl belongs to a group of medications called contact laxatives. Bisacodyl increases regular bowel contractions and increases the amount of water in the bowel contents, which makes bowel movements faster and easier.

Each tablet contains:Bisacodyl 5 mg
Ingredients of Healthypharm Laxeertabletten Bisacodyl 5 mg:
Bisacodyl, Excipients: potato starch, gum arabic (E414), calcium carbonate (E170), cellulose acetate phthalate, dimethyl phthalate, hypromellose (E464), LACTOSE, macrogolglycerol ricinoleate, magnesium stearate (E470B), methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218), montan glycol wax (E912), sunset yellow FCF (E110), povidone (E1201), propylene glycol (E1520), sucrose, colloidal anhydrous silica (E551), talc (E553B), tartrazine (E102), titanium dioxide (E171).Use of Healthypharm Laxeertabletten Bisacodyl 5 mg:
Children 10 years and younger with chronic constipation should be treated under the supervision of a doctor. Bisacodyl should not be used in children under 2 years of age.Blockage:
As with all medicines in the group to which bisacodyl belongs, Laxative Tablets HTP Bisacodyl 5 mg should in principle not be used for more than three days in a row.
• Adults and children aged 11 years and over: 1-2 tablets (10 mg) per day before bedtime or 1 suppository (10 mg) for an immediate effect.
• Children 2 to 10 years: 1 tablet (5 mg) daily before bedtime or 1 suppository (5 mg) for immediate effect. Preferably take the tablets in the evening so that a bowel movement occurs the following morning (approximately 10 hours after taking them). Please read information leaflet before use
