Application of Care Plus Anti Insect Deet Lotion 50%:
Protects against ticks and mosquitoes.Protects the user for an average of 10 hours against bites from house mosquitoes and Anopheles mosquitoes (carrier of the parasite that can cause malaria).
9 hours against bites from Aedes mosquitoes (carriers of the yellow fever virus) and 5 hours against tick bites (Ixodes).
The protection time against some aggressive tropical tick species may be shorter.
Composition of Care Plus Anti Insect Deet Lotion 50%:
Active ingredient:N., N-diethyl-m-toluamide (DEET) 48,5% w/w
Ethanol 50.0 % w/w
Usage of Care Plus Anti Insect Deet Lotion 50%:
Care Plus advises covering the skin with clothing as much as possible.Preferably wear long trousers and a long-sleeved shirt.
For optimal protection against bites and stings, we recommend applying Care Plus Anti-Insect DEET (Natural or Sensitive) to all exposed skin.
Apply the insect repellent evenly with the palm of your hand.
For protection on the face, spread a small amount of the insect repellent over the face with your fingers.
Then wash your hands and apply it to the back of your hands.
Always keep your fingers free when consuming food or drinks.
For children, do not apply insect repellent to body parts that can easily come into contact with the eyes or mouth, such as the hands and forearms.
When used during the day, apply the insect repellent ten minutes before exposure to direct sunlight.
In combination with sunscreen, apply the sunscreen first 30 minutes before sun exposure.
Then apply the insect repellent 20 minutes later (and 10 minutes before sun exposure). Subsequently, wash the treated areas of the skin thoroughly with soap and water when protection is no longer needed or if side effects occur.
