NiQuitin Clear is used to help you quit smoking. The active ingredient in NiQuitin Clear is nicotine. It acts as a temporary aid to help you quit smoking. This helps alleviate nicotine withdrawal symptoms associated with quitting smoking. If possible, you should use NiQuitin Clear as part of a smoking cessation program.NiQuitin Clear patches are transparent, rectangular, constant-release patches that deliver a constant amount of nicotine through the skin to the body over a 24-hour period.
NiQuitin Clear is less harmful than smoking because NiQuitin Clear does not contain the tar and carbon monoxide found in cigarette smoke.
Ingredients of Niquitin Pleisters Stap 1 21 mg:
Active ingredient: nicotineAdditives: Ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer, polyethylene terephthalate, ethylene vinyl acetate, polyethylene film, polyisobutylene and white ink (titanium dioxide E171).
Usage of Niquitin Pleisters Stap 1 21 mg:
NiQuitin Clear patches should be applied once a day.Every day at the same time, preferably immediately after waking up, take a NiQuitin Clear
Apply the patch to a clean, dry, hairless area of skin. Do not apply to
areas where the skin folds (such as at your joints) or where folds form during movement
arising in the skin.
Do not apply NiQuitin Clear patches to areas of skin that are red, irritated or damaged.
NiQuitin Clear patches should be worn continuously for 24 hours. If desired,
patches should be removed before going to bed. However, 24-hour use is recommended for a
optimal effect against the urge to smoke in the morning.
A patch should not be worn for longer than 24 hours.
After 24 hours, the used patch should be removed and a new patch should be applied
another spot of skin.
Fold a removed patch in half with the adhesive side facing inwards and place
these in the empty sachet of the new patch to be applied. Throw away the sachet containing the
Dispose of used plaster with care, out of the reach of children.
A skin area that has been used for a plaster should not be used for at least seven days
before a new plaster can be applied to this spot.
Do not use multiple patches at the same time.
