Moducare contains plant sterols. These are lipids found in small quantities in many food crops, medicinal herbs, and other higher plant species, primarily as beta-sitosterol with 1% sterolins. Its chemical structure is similar to cholesterol. Sitosteroline enhances the effect of sitosterol.Moducare contains a patented combination of beta-sitosterol and the glucoside form sitosteroline in a unique, natural ratio of 100:1. The combination of the two has a greater effect, with the 100:1 ratio proving to be the most optimal.
The sources of these nutrients are maritime pine (Pinus pinaster) and pine (Pinus maritima). These plant sterols and sterolins are absorbed in the small intestine and then transported to the cell membranes. Here, they actively support your immune system through their modulating activity.
