Maintenance dose: take 1 to 2 capsules daily, during or immediately after a meal. This corresponds with 200-400 mg EPA per day. When necessary the dose can be increased to a few grams of EPA a day. In general, it takes 1 to 4 months before the effects of omega-3 fatty acids are noticeable.
