Pantothenic acid (from the Greek "pantothen" = everywhere) is a water-soluble vitamin from the B complex. Pantothenic acid is sometimes called vitamin B5. One of its most important functions is its role in the production of corticosteroid hormones by the adrenal glands.Vitamin B5 also functions as a component of coenzyme A, which is essential for releasing energy from food, for the conversion of fat and cholesterol, for the formation of antibodies, and for a healthy nervous system. The role of pantothenic acid in cholesterol levels is important. Without pantothenic acid, there is no conversion of cholesterol into steroid hormones, which ensure that the body can cope with demanding situations. This supplement is suitable for people with demanding lifestyles and heavy drinkers.

Each tablet (=daily dose) contains:Pantothenic acid (Vitamin B5) as calcium pantothenate 500 mg

Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
