Our Organic Shiitake Powder contains 100% organically grown Shiitake (Lentinus edodes) fruiting body extract in a 1:1 ratio. This popular mushroom, also known as the “king of edible mushrooms” or “king of mushrooms”, is cultivated under strictly controlled organic conditions on an EU-certified farm.Shiitake is an edible mushroom that grows naturally on dead or dying deciduous trees, particularly chestnuts, oaks, and beeches, in the mountainous regions of East Asia. The mushroom has a characteristic brown cap with white scales and a robust, aromatic flavor. The Japanese name “Shiitake” is a combination of “shii” (a type of chestnut tree) and “take” (mushroom).
Shiitake has a long history in traditional Chinese and Japanese medicine and has been cultivated for over 1,000 years. In Japan, Shiitake was historically regarded as a gift for emperors and was highly valued for its nutritional value and unique composition. Today, Shiitake is available as a dietary supplement in the form of extracts and powders, in which the active components are present in concentrated form.
Our Shiitake powder is a fruiting body extract, which means that only the flesh (fruiting body) of the mushroom is used – not the mycelium on the grain. This guarantees a higher concentration of active substances such as beta-glucans and polysaccharides. The 1:1 extract ratio means that 1 kg of finished product is made from 1 kg of fresh Shiitake fruiting bodies, without the addition of fillers.
Our extract contains a minimum of 28% beta-glucans and 3% polysaccharides, tested according to international standards. This makes it a high-quality product with a guaranteed concentration of bioactive components.

Usage of Kala Health Shiitake Poeder Biologisch:
Adults 1-2 grams (approximately 1 level teaspoon) per day, unless otherwise advised by a healthcare professional.Mix the powder with warm water, tea, smoothies, juices, or other drinks. Stir well until the powder is dissolved.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
