Many mineral sunscreens use zinc oxide nanoparticles. These are so small that they can enter your bloodstream through the skin—and form free radicals in sunlight. Exactly what you want to prevent. Our zinc oxide is above the nano limit and is coated with Polyhydroxystearic Acid, a natural coating based on castor oil. No synthetic silicones, no nanoparticles.
Anhydrous and plant-based
The formula contains no water, and therefore no emulsifiers or synthetic preservatives. The base consists of Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (vegetable oil), coconut oil, candelilla wax, and sunflower wax. Isoamyl Laurate and Isoamyl Cocoate—100% biodegradable—ensure a smooth texture without the white residue associated with mineral sunscreens. Tocopherol (vitamin E) provides additional skin protection as an antioxidant.

1. Apply generously to areas in direct contact with the sun.2. Apply on time.
Apply sunscreen 15-20 minutes before sun exposure, even though mineral sunscreen works immediately. This prevents stains on clothing and gives it a chance to adhere properly.
3. Repeat the application.
Reapply every 2 hours in bright sunlight or after swimming/sweating – even if it is water-resistant.
4. Combine with other sun protection.
Think about clothing, hats, and shade. Our Natural Sunscreen is just one part of sun-safe behavior.
5. Spend a lot of time outdoors all year round.
Ensure you get plenty of exposure throughout the year without getting sunburned.
