The Mommy Formula contains all important micronutrients for the preconception phase and pregnancy in responsible, easily absorbable forms. These include bioactive B vitamins, natural vitamin D3, iron in bisglycinate form, coated vitamin K2, and choline. Unique is the addition of a substantial dose of standardized ginger extract. Folic acid (vitamin B11) is an important vitamin in the first weeks of pregnancy. Folic acid supplementation increases the mother's folate status. A low maternal folate status is a risk factor for the development of spina bifida in the developing fetus.* The Mommy Formula contains Quatrefolic®, a high-quality, directly active form of folic acid: 5-MTHF. Unlike folic acid, 5-MTHF does not need to be converted in the body and is immediately available.
The Health Council advises women who wish to become pregnant to start taking folic acid four weeks before conception and to continue using it until at least the twelfth week of pregnancy. The formula contains 400 mcg of bioactive folate, a good and responsible amount.
Vitamin D3 supports the immune system and the bones
Vitamin D is also an important vitamin during pregnancy. It supports the functioning of the immune system and plays a role in bone formation in children. Because the need for vitamin D is increased during this period, it is advised for pregnant women to take extra vitamin D daily. This formula contains 25 mcg of vitamin D3 per daily dose, making supplementary intake unnecessary.

Warnings:
