Vitamin B3, a water-soluble vitamin, exists in several forms, including nicotinamide (synonym: niacinamide). Nicotinamide is closely related to nicotinic acid, but it is chemically impossible for the amide form to be converted into free nicotinic acid in the body. Nicotinamide functions in over fifty metabolic reactions. It plays a key role in glycolysis, the citric acid cycle reactions, and the hexose monophosphate shunt (HMPS), all of which are important for releasing energy from carbohydrates. It is required for the deamination of amino acids, the synthesis of fatty acids, and the beta-oxidation of fatty acids. Nicotinamide is essential for maintaining the integrity of all body cells by playing a role in the formation of red blood cells and steroids, and in cellular energy production.Composition of Lamberts Nicotinamide 250 mg:
Each tablet contains:Vitamine B3 (Nicotinamide) 250 mg
Ingredients of Lamberts Nicotinamide 250 mg:
Niacin (nicotinamide), bulking agents (calcium carbonate, cellulose and dicalcium phosphate), stabiliser (hydroxypropyl cellulose), anti-caking agents (silicon dioxide, stearic acid and magnesium salts of fatty acids), glazing agents (hydroxylpropyl methylcellulose and glycerol), humectant (crosslinked cellulose gum).This product is free from: Wheat, gluten, barley, soy, eggs, milk and dairy products, lactose, nuts, sulphites, celery, fish, shellfish and yeast.
Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
Usage of Lamberts Nicotinamide 250 mg:
Take 1 tablet per day, unless otherwise advised by your health professional.Preferably take with a meal and plenty of water.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
