Acetylcysteine breaks down tough, sticky mucus, making it thinner and easier to cough up.What is this medicine used for
Acetylcysteine Teva can be used for respiratory conditions such as
asthma, bronchitis (inflammation of the lining of the trachea), emphysema, cystic fibrosis
(cystic fibrosis) and bronchiectasis (long-term dilation of a branch of the trachea).
Composition of Sandoz Acetylcysteine 600 mg :
Active ingredients: acetylcysteineAdditives: ascorbic acid (E300), citric acid (E330), LACTOSE, mannitol (E421), sodium carbonate (E500a), sodium cyclamate, sodium hydrogen carbonate
(E500), saccharin sodium (E954), trisodium citrate (E331c) and blackberry flavouring
Use of Sandoz Acetylcysteine 600 mg :
1 effervescent tablet once a day.In patients who have difficulty coughing up (elderly and debilitated patients),
recommended to take the effervescent tablet in the morning.
