Boswellia is a genus of trees in the balsam family (Burseraceae), native to dry, mountainous regions of India, Africa, and the Middle East. These trees are best known for the aromatic resin extracted from their trunks. It was widely used in incense and perfumes and played an important role in religious and cultural rituals. Besides its fragrant uses, other traditional uses of the resin were also known.
Today, Boswellia is primarily processed into extracts, which contain concentrated active ingredients from the resin. These extracts can be found in nutritional supplements, among other things. A water-alcohol extract of Boswellia resin. One daily dose contains 2-3 ml of water-alcohol extract of 200-300 mg of dried Boswellia resin.Usage of De Cruydhof / Natura Sanat Boswellia Serrata - Boswellia Tinctuur Biologisch:
Shake before use. Unless otherwise prescribed, take 15 to 20 drops in a small amount of water three times a day.Children aged 2 – 15 years: use the same number of drops as their age.
