The AQUAPHOR MAXFOR+ replacement filter offers universal protection against a range of impurities commonly found in tap water. It improves the taste and odor of water and reduces limescale buildup in hard water. The filter cartridge effectively reduces water hardness, chlorine, heavy metals, iron, pesticides, organic compounds, and other contaminants.MAXFOR+ features AQUALEN, the patented ion-exchange fiber with a surface area 33 times greater than that of conventional ion-exchange materials used in water filters. Combined with the extra-fine, high-density carbon absorbents, this guarantees exceptionally high purification performance. AQUALEN irreversibly binds heavy metal ions, including lead, iron, mercury, and radioactive isotopes.
