Application of Linn Diclofenac 12,5 mg :
Diclofenac potassium Linn 12.5 mg is a painkiller that also reduces inflammation (swelling) and lowers body temperature.What is this medicine used for?
Rheumatic pain, muscle pain, headache, toothache, symptomatic treatment of primary
dysmenorrhea, acute lower back pain, cold and flu-like symptoms, including fever relief, sore throat, and a runny nose.
This product is indicated for use in adults and children aged 14 years and older.
Do not use with
• Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to one of the substances listed in section 6.1
excipients
• Proven congestive heart failure (NYHA II-IV), ischemic heart disease, peripheral arterial
vascular disease and/or cerebrovascular disease.
• Active gastric or duodenal ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation.
• History of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforations related to a previous
NSAID treatment.
• Active or a history of recurrent stomach ulcers or bleeding (2 or more
clear episodes of a proven ulcer or bleeding).
• Last trimester of pregnancy (see section 4.6).
• Severe liver or kidney failure (see section 4.4).
• As is also the case for other NSAIDs, diclofenac is also contraindicated in patients, in
who experiences an asthma attack, urticaria, or after the use of acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs
acute rhinitis has occurred.
• Patients with a cerebrovascular hemorrhage or other active bleeding or
bleeding disorders.
• Patients with blood dyscrasias.
• Patients with bone marrow depression.
Composition of Linn Diclofenac 12,5 mg :
Each film-coated tablet contains 12.5 mg of diclofenac potassium.Usage of Linn Diclofenac 12,5 mg :
Adults and children aged 14 and overThe initial dose is two tablets. Subsequently, one tablet every 4 to 6 hours as needed.
A maximum of 6 tablets (75 mg) may be taken per 24 hours. Diclofenac potassium Linn 12.5 mg is
intended for short-term use, up to 5 days for the relief of pain and 3 days for the relief of
fever.
The use of Diclofenac potassium Linn 12.5 mg by children under 14 years of age is not recommended.
Taken with food and drink
The rate of absorption of diclofenac is reduced when the tablets are taken during meals.
