With Vitamin B6, B12 and Folate, contributing to normal homocysteine metabolismOur blood carries oxygen, nutrients, waste products and numerous metabolic and metabolic intermediates. The levels of some of these substances in the blood are measured on demand or in control tests, such as the levels of blood fats (triglycerides, cholesterol) and homocysteine. Cholesterol is not only absorbed from food but also produced in the body. It serves e.g. as a raw material for the production of hormones, as a building material of nerve tissue and organs or as a component of cell walls. A good ratio between its production and supply is important, as is normal processing of cholesterol and other fats. A balanced diet can contribute to this.
