Algae are microscopic plants, stand at the very bottom of the food chain, and are the primary source of the omega-3 fatty acid DHA.Vegan Algae Oil is an Omega 3 supplement made from sustainably cultivated algae. The fermentation process of the algae takes place in a closed, pure environment. As a result, the algae oil is free from contamination.
This liquid algae oil contains 1200 mg of omega-3 fatty acids per 5 ml, of which 900 mg is DHA and 300 mg is EPA, both in their natural triglyceride form. This means that the fatty acid chains have remained intact, unlike some fish oils that are converted into ethyl esters through a chemical process.
What are EPA & DHA?
EPA and DHA are Omega-3 fatty acids that contribute to the maintenance of normal blood pressure (when consuming 3 grams of EPA and DHA per day, do not exceed 5 g combined). EPA and DHA also have a beneficial effect on the heart (at 250 mg of EPA & DHA per day). Additionally, DHA is good for the brain and eyesight (at 250 mg per day).

You take 5 ml once daily (from age 7), unless otherwise advised by your healthcare professional.Preferably take during or after a meal with sufficient water.
Do not exceed the recommended daily amount.
Children from 1 to 6 years: take 2.5 ml once daily.
Take a maximum of 1.5 ml during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Store in the refrigerator after opening.
