Nicotinell Mint Mouth Spray is used to treat tobacco dependence in adults.This medication is used to help you quit smoking when you want to, or to reduce your smoking before quitting completely. This treatment is called nicotine replacement therapy (NRT).
What is this medicine used for
This medication reduces nicotine withdrawal symptoms, including the urge to smoke. You experience these symptoms when you quit smoking. When your body is suddenly deprived of the nicotine in tobacco, you experience various unpleasant feelings. These are withdrawal symptoms. By using this medication, you can prevent or reduce these unpleasant feelings and the urge to smoke. This is because you continue to supply your body with a small amount of nicotine for a short period. This medication does not contain the tar, carbon monoxide, or other toxins found in cigarette smoke.
To increase your chances of helping you quit smoking, you may also need to seek professional support and advice.
Composition of Nicotinell Mondspray 1 mg :
Active ingredient: One spray contains 1 mg of nicotine in 0.07 ml of solution. 1 ml of solution contains 13.6 mg of nicotine.Excipients: propylene glycol (E1520), glycerol (E422), anhydrous ethanol, poloxamer 407, glycine (E640), sodium hydrogen carbonate (E500(ii)), levomenthol, mint flavour (contains benzyl alcohol, propylene glycol (E1520), pulegone), coolant (contains menthol, menthol carboxamide, essential oil, propylene glycol (E1520)), sucralose (E955), acesulfame potassium (E950), sodium hydroxide (E524), purified water
Usage of Nicotinell Mondspray 1 mg :

- Severe kidney disease
- Diabetes
- An overactive thyroid gland
- Adrenal gland tumor (pheochromocytoma)
- Stomach or intestinal ulcer
- Inflammation of the esophagus (esophagitis)
Nicotinell Mouth Spray Mint should not be used by non-smokers
Children and young people under 18 years of age
This medicine should not be used in children or adolescents.
