Vitals Vitamin K2 + D3 consists of vegan softgels with a generous dose of both fat-soluble vitamins, in a base of MCT oil. The softgels are opaque with iron oxide to protect the highly light-sensitive vitamins. Softgels are popular and extremely pleasant to use because they are easy to swallow. Fortunately, softgels are no longer made exclusively from gelatin. They are now also available from plant-based sources (such as tapioca starch from cassava).Vitamin K and D work together to get calcium to the right place
Vitamin D stimulates the production of certain proteins in the body that depend on vitamin K for their function. These so-called Gla proteins are activated by vitamin K so they can then perform their functions. A shared property of these vitamin K-dependent Gla proteins is that they bind calcium. MCT oil, modified tapioca starch (Manihot esculenta, vegetable softgel capsule), humectant (glycerol), purified water, vitamin K2, vitamin D3 (from algae), color (iron oxide).This product is suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
Usage of Vitals Vitamine K2 + D3:
Take 1 to 2 softgels per day, unless otherwise advised by your healthcare professional.Preferably take with a (fat-containing) meal and sufficient water.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Warning:
This nutritional supplement is not suitable for children under 10 years of age.
The Vitamin K in this product makes it unsuitable for simultaneous use of coumarin derivatives
(anticoagulants such as acenocoumarol and phenprocoumon). These medications are also called vitamin K antagonists, and their effectiveness is reduced by vitamin K intake from food and supplements.
