Klean Labs Vitamin D3 1000 i.U. is a unique, flavorless, and sugar-free liquid that contains 1000 i.U. of natural vitamin D3 per drop.Vitamin D is, together with Vitamin K, the only Vitamin that our body can or should produce itself: it is formed by the skin under the influence of UV rays from sunlight.
Vitamin D itself is not an active molecule; it is only converted during our metabolism. Our body can then activate it when needed. In the liver, for example, it is converted into a storable form. In this form, it then migrates to fat and muscle tissue. If needed, it can be converted into its active form in the kidneys.
