OptiPEA® is the patented, GMO-free quality product from the Dutch company Innexus Nutraceuticals. OptiPEA® has an ultrafine particle size, which contributes to good absorption.Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) is an endogenous, fatty acid-like substance belonging to the so-called acylethanolamides and can be produced in virtually all human cells from phospholipids present in the cell membranes. PEA has physiological functions. Like endocannabinoids, it is an endogenous lipid molecule that is produced 'on demand' by most body cells and tissues under certain conditions. PEA contributes to the normal balance/normal homeostasis in our tissues.
In humans, PEA is present in the brain, nervous system, and peripheral organs. Relatively high levels can be found in human milk (breast milk) and in the milk of cattle and elk. In the diet, PEA is present in egg yolk, among other sources, but also in other foods such as soybean oil, peanut oil, and corn, in the seeds of some types of legumes such as peas and beans, as well as in some types of vegetables such as tomatoes and potatoes.

You take 3 capsules per day, unless otherwise advised by your healthcare professional.Preferably take during a meal with plenty of water. After 6 weeks, switch to the maintenance dose of 1-2 capsules per day. Do not use during pregnancy.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
