In addition to the highly successful PEA capsules, Lucovitaal is now also introducing a skin care and soothing cream with PEA.Because PEA is a naturally occurring substance, it is easily and quickly absorbed through the skin, providing local pain relief. Lucovitaal PEA cream contains 1500 mg of palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) and 200 mg of Boswellia Serrata per 100 ml. Boswellia has been used for centuries in Ayurvedic medicine as a means of combating inflammation. The active ingredients in Boswellia have the same effect as corticosteroids. Boswellia therefore has strong anti-inflammatory properties and therefore has a beneficial effect on conditions such as osteoarthritis, eczema, and psoriasis. The cream also contains shea butter, which gives it a delightful nutty scent and provides intense hydration for soft, fresh, and nourished skin.
