You can perfectly use aftersun as a body lotion. But preferably not body lotion as aftersun. Because what your skin needs most after an overdose of sun is cooling. And a greasy body lotion, body cream, or body oil contains butters and oils that actually trap heat in your skin. And that is the last thing your skin needs.What your skin really needs is hydration! That is why Loveli Aftersun contains cucumber extract. But also aloe vera to help your skin recover from an overdose of sun. And green tea, known for its high amount of antioxidants that help repair sun damage. To help cool your skin and to keep your tan for longer, Loveli Aftersun also contains coconut oil. Because that is an oil that absorbs quickly and can therefore actually cool your skin.
Composition of Loveli Aftersun Cucumber & Aloë Vera:
✓Aloe vera: The aloe vera juice in our Aftersun is made from aloe vera leaves. Aloe vera has been known for centuries to soothe and repair the skin.✓Coconut oil: Coconut oil absorbs quickly into your skin, helping to cool sunburnt skin. It also helps maintain your sunny glow longer by hydrating and making your skin supple without clogging pores.
✓Coco Caprylate/Caprate: liquid coconut oil with the same great properties as regular coconut oil, but with the advantage that it does not harden when the temperature drops again.
✓Mango butter: Mango butter absorbs quickly and nourishes your skin.
✓Cucumber extract: made from fresh, organic cucumbers in vegetable glycerin. Glycerin is hydrating for your skin. Cucumber contains the minerals magnesium and potassium, which help retain moisture. The natural vitamin C in the cucumber acts as an antioxidant.
✓Cetearyl Olivate and Sorbitan Olivate: together are the natural emulsifier in this Aftersun.
