Cold and throat symptoms can be the result of, among other things, a dry or tickling cough caused by irritated and dried-out mucous membranes in the mouth and throat. The throat lozenges with the Hydrogel complex, which consists of Hyaluronic acid and Icelandic moss, among other ingredients, effectively protect the mucous membranes in the mouth and throat.The citrus-honey flavored throat lozenges contain the Hydrogel complex, which consists of Carbomer and Xanthan gum with Hyaluronic acid. Thanks to the strong water-binding capabilities of the polysaccharide Xanthan gum and the unique swelling capacity of the gel-forming agent Carbomer, a protective layer forms over the irritated mucous membranes. Hyaluronic acid has the unique physical property of forming a moisturizing layer on the surface of the mucous membranes. Isla® Medic Acute Citrus-Honey contains a special extract of
Icelandic moss, the resilient lichen from the rugged climate of the far north. The dry residue consists of more than 80% mucilage. When sucking on the throat lozenge, the extract dissolves and spreads like a balm over the mucous membranes in the mouth and throat. This stimulates saliva production and allows the mucous membranes to recover, so that cold and throat symptoms such as a tickling cough and short-term hoarseness, as well as dried-out mucous membranes and resulting complaints such as sore throat and pain when swallowing, can be relieved.

Composition of Isla Medic Acute Citrus-Honingsmaak:
Each throat lozenge contains:Aqueous extract of Icelandic moss (0.4 - 0.8:1), Carbomer, Xanthan gum, Sodium hyaluronate.
Other ingredients: Arabic gum, Sorbitol, Maltitol, anhydrous citric acid, Acesulfame-K, Lemon oil, Orange oil, flavouring, colouring plant extract (apple/safflower/lemon), medium-chain triglycerides, water.
Usage of Isla Medic Acute Citrus-Honingsmaak:
Adults and children aged 6 and over take a throat lozenge several times a day as needed, with a maximum of 6 lozenges per day. Suck the throat lozenges slowly and completely.NB:
Isla® Medic Acute Citrus-Honing can be used as needed for a longer period (maximum 30 days) or intermittently. If no improvement in symptoms is noticed after 3 days of continuous use, or if symptoms worsen (fever, muscle pain), consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Excessive use of Isla® Medic Acute Citrus-Honey can lead to a laxative effect or stomach upset.
