Resveratrol is a so-called polyphenol, a health-promoting substance found in red wine, blueberries, and peanuts, among other things.Veri-te™ is a high-quality resveratrol extract from the company Evolva. Thanks to the production process involving microbial fermentation, they can guarantee an extremely high purity of their extracts. This results in a 98 percent pure trans-resveratrol extract that is also stable and free of heavy metals. Consequently, this resveratrol is free of so-called PAHs (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons). This is a group of chemical contaminants found in the majority of Chinese resveratrol extracts. Extracts derived from Japanese Knotweed can therefore have various unwanted side effects.
BioPerine® (95-98% piperine) is an extract obtained from the black pepper fruit. Piper Nigrum, the name of the plant from which black pepper originates, is cultivated in the moist, nutrient-rich soil regions of South India.
Vitakruid has added Bioperine® to Resveratrol 200 because various scientific studies show that the nutrient ensures better absorption of trans-resveratrol.
