Vitals' Elke Dag multivitamins are headed by Elke Dag Platinum. Vitals uses the "Platinum" designation to create the highest-dosage, most complete version in its line. This is certainly true for this multivitamin, where two tablets a day provide optimal dosages. It's the first choice for anyone who wants the best of the best.A major problem when formulating a multivitamin and mineral supplement is the limited space available in a tablet. Certain important macrominerals, such as magnesium, calcium, and potassium, are often lacking. Price, of course, also plays a significant role. This often comes at the expense of important but expensive nutrients like vitamin K2 and Q10. When developing Elke Dag Platinum, more space was created by assuming two tablets per day. This often eliminates the need to take other basic supplements to achieve the most desirable daily dosages (with the exception of omega-3 fatty acids, which are better taken separately for several reasons).
The result is a multivitamin with generous doses of Magnesium (100 mg), Calcium (200 mg), Potassium (300 mg), and Vitamin C (300 mg), but also high doses of Vitamin K2 (180 mcg), Vitamin D3 (50 mcg), and Choline (170 mg). And the addition of special nutrients such as Lutein, Zeaxanthin, Meso-zeaxanthin, Lycopene, Taurine, Acetyl-L-carnitine, Alpha-lipoic acid, Q10, and OPC. Ideal for adults with an active lifestyle (busy life, demanding job, physical work, and/or sports).

The composition of Elke Dag Platinum has recently been revised.
The dosage of some vitamins and minerals has been adjusted accordingly. Lycopene, OPC, boron, and a highly absorbable form of silicon have also been added. Manganese and PQQ are no longer present in this formula.

Usage of Vitals Elke Dag Platinum:

Warning:
This food supplement should only be consumed by adults, with the exception of pregnant and lactating women.
This nutritional supplement is not suitable for children up to and including 10 years of age (mandatory declaration for products with more than 20 mcg Vitamin D per daily dose).
The vitamin K in this product makes it unsuitable for use with coumarin derivatives (anticoagulants such as acenocoumarol and phenprocoumon). These medications are also called vitamin K antagonists, and their effectiveness is reduced by vitamin K intake from food and supplements.
