Vitamins K and D are linked. After all, they both play an essential role in maintaining healthy calcium metabolism, that is to say, the absorption and use of calcium in the body.Vitamin D supports calcium absorption, but does not regulate exactly where that extra calcium ends up. This is where vitamin K comes into play. This calcium distributor helps ensure that the extra absorbed calcium actually reaches the place where it is functional: in bones and teeth.
Combined supplementation of Vitamin K and D can be important in cases of high calcium intake. It is also beneficial when additional vitamin K supplementation is desirable to complement the diet. This is the case, for example, with aging, as vitamin K absorption can change, when taking medication, or in cases of being overweight. A good vitamin K status is also closely linked to the proper functioning of the liver, stomach, and intestines.
Vitamin K and D are both fat-soluble vitamins and are better absorbed in the presence of (dietary) fat. Olive oil has been added to favorably influence absorption.
New Care K2 & D3 contains Vitamin K2 in the form of MK-7 (menaquinone-7). MK-7 is derived from natto, a traditional Japanese food based on fermented soybeans. Vitamin K2 is also found in meat, eggs, and some cheeses, and is produced by certain bacteria in our intestines. For vitamin D, the natural, biologically active form of vitamin D (vitamin D3) has been chosen, as it also occurs in eggs, meat, and fish.

Each capsule contains:Vitamin K2 (menaquinone-7) 45 mcg
Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) 20 mcg
Ingredients of New Care Vitamine K2 & D3:
Olive oil, capsule: bovine gelatin, glycerol and water, menaquinone (derived from fermented soy), cholecalciferol.Allergen information: contains soy.
This product is free from: sugar, gluten, yeast, lactose, colorings, flavorings, and preservatives.
Usage of New Care Vitamine K2 & D3:
You take 1 capsule 1-2 times daily, unless otherwise advised by your healthcare professional.Preferably take during a meal with sufficient water.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
