With BamboLux, Lucovitaal products are produced sustainably and responsibly. The bamboo used here requires only sunlight and rainwater to grow, eliminating the need for an expensive irrigation system. Moreover, excess rainwater is collected and reused multiple times during dry periods. The water used to dye the bamboo is also reused. Bamboo has the advantage of not needing replanting, as new plants grow from underground roots. Furthermore, bamboo absorbs more carbon dioxide from the air and produces approximately 30% more oxygen than regular trees. Furthermore, the roots remain intact after harvesting, reducing the risk of soil erosion. The production yield of bamboo is 10 times higher compared to cotton, based on the same land area.
