Collagen is the most abundant protein in the body. It's found in skin, joints, bones, muscles, and cartilage, among other places. Different types of collagen play a role in different parts of our bodies. For food and supplements, the protein can be extracted from various natural sources, such as fish and cattle.This product is derived from bovine cartilage, which contains types I, II, and III collagen. Therefore, the collagen naturally contains the glycosaminoglycan (GAG) chondroitin sulfate.
This product contains *Colartix® and Hydrolyzed Cartilage. Colartix® is made from cartilage containing collagen types I, II, and III.
Collagen is rich in proteins, which contribute to the maintenance of strong bones and the maintenance and growth of muscle mass.
Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal functioning of bones and cartilage. Calcium contributes to the maintenance of strong bones, and magnesium is important for normal muscle function.
