Apigenin is a flavonoid that occurs naturally in some plants at concentrations of up to 1.2%. More than 95% of apigenin in plants is the less active form: apigenin 7-glucoside.Some supplement manufacturers use apigenin 7-glucoside instead of pure apigenin. Exendo Epigenomics uses only pure apigenin.
Apigenin is readily absorbed through the blood-brain barrier and is non-toxic at high concentrations. Doses up to 10 mg per kg body weight are well tolerated.
ULDA started for Ultra Low Dose Apigenine; ultra low dose apigenin.

Each vegetarian capsule (= daily dose) contains:Apigenin (from 4.2 mg celery extract) 2.5 mg
Rice flour (filler) 146 mg

Use of Exendo Epigenomics Apigenine ULDA 2,5:
Take 1 capsule daily before going to bed unless otherwise advised by your health professional.Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
The capsule may be opened, it is best mixed with concentrated juice.
Do not administer to children under 4 years of age.
Contraindications: Avoid use during pregnancy, breastfeeding, and if you are taking antidepressants, antipsychotics, opiate painkillers, cytostatics, immunosuppressants, radiotherapy, atomoxetine,dextroamphetamine, Parkinson's medication, bupropion, and serotonergic agents such as St. John's wort, passion flower, tryptophan, five-HTP, and high doses of Rhodiola. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking antidiabetic agents at the same time. Discontinue use before surgery. Other effects on medicines and health products are also possible. Consult your doctor or a specialist. Apigenin may cause stress in people with the A118G gene polymorphism (a genetic variation in endorphin function).
