Application of Staudt Wondzalf:
Staudt Wound Ointment consists of 10% refined Norwegian spruce resin from Finnish Lapland. Resin ointments have traditionally been used in Finnish folk medicine for wounds, burns, and ulcers. The natural resin is processed into a homogeneous ointment base using a patented production process and is registered as a Class 2B medical device according to the applicable EU directive.Staudt Wound Ointment has strong antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. It promotes the healing of infected and non-infectious wounds, including cuts, abrasions, cracks, ulcers, and burns.
The ointment forms a protective layer over the wound that strengthens the healing process, inhibits the influence of bacteria, fungi and yeasts and promotes the production of new skin epithelium.
Ingredients of Staudt Wondzalf:
INCI: Petrolatum, Paraffinum liquidum, Norway spruce (Picea Abies) resin, Alcohol denat., Cera microcristallina, Sorbitan oleate, Cera alba, Hydrogenated castor oil, Stearic acid.Usage of Staudt Wondzalf:
If possible, clean the wound with water and then apply the ointment. You can apply it directly to the wound or on a gauze pad, and repeat several times a day as needed until the wound is healed.Warning:
Avoid contact with mucous membranes, eyes and mouth.
Do not use the ointment during pregnancy or breastfeeding. No information is available on its possible effects, so it is recommended not to use it.
People allergic to natural resin should not use the product. As an additional check for sensitivity, you can apply a small amount of the ointment to the inside of your arm (at the elbow). If a reaction occurs, such as redness or itching, it is best to avoid using the ointment.
